Featuring Osamu Dazai's 'Villon's Wife', originally published in 1947, Daido Moriyama creates an homage to Daizai though the selection of photographs contained in this book. With image and text both laid out, the viewer is allowed to follow the narrative of Dazai's written work accompanied by Moriyama's photographs, reflecting the intimate relationship between the both text and image.
