Monochrome
Published by Getsuyosha, Moriyama's Monochrome is the companion publication to the earlier published Color. Both shot in-between 2008 and 2012, Monochrome contains 312 pages of images shot within Tokyo specifically for this publication. This photobook wonderfully complements its published counterpart which contains a record of Moriyama's wanderings in and around Tokyo for its publication all shot in color using a digital camera. The images within Monochrome are highly contrasted and visually echo and compliment the colored images found within its sister publication.
