NAGISA
Daido Moriyama's Nagisa is a collection of images which document his relationship with the enka singer Yoko Nagisa. The portraits capture Nagisa poised in different environments. Within a backdrop of landscapes which cross that of empty rooms, deserted beaches to the crowded trains Moriyama captures the singer within the intimate frame of their relationship. Here the subject of the photographer and the lover is explored through the distinct style and iconography that is Daido.
