Tombeau Tokyo
When you glance down at Tokyo’s countless buildings, the city resembles an arrangement of tombstones (tombeau).
Photographer Nobuyoshi Araki once again traces the “then” against the “now”, in a requiem dedicated to his hometown Tokyo.
Featuring 98 new works shown as part of a large-scale exhibition at the Musee Guimet in Paris from April 13. Araki’s latest collection of works, as approved by the master photographer, finally in print form.
