to TENKUNI
Tengoku, (heaven). Well this time it's tenkuni (paradise).
For an episode of NHK's weekly television art program "Sunday Museum" they filmed me shooting pictures of Aoyama cemetery from the back window of a taxi. After that we headed over to Ginza’s 4th district for the last scene of the show. Here I was photographing on the streets- it was a Pedestrian Paradise Day, one of those Sundays when they close the place off to cars.
The wrap-up party with the crew was in Ginza's nearby 7th district. We ate tempura at a place called "Tenkuni".
See? That's why this isn't "To Heaven", but "To Tenkuni".
