Good Night gods
Kawashima Kotori’s Good Night gods is a collection of photographs taken in Taiwan which were created in collaboration with the Japanese poet Shuntaro Tanikawa.
“inspired by the photographs of Kawashima, Tanikawa wrote new poems that travel to the world of “Tamashishi”, meaning soul in Japanese through the photographs by Kawashima. Beyond the difference in the age of 50 years, the photographs and the poems echo each other and give us a chance to think of the invisible “Tamashishi” by passing between the different genre of expressions.”
