Yamauchi Michio's Keelung beautifully captures the day to day lives of the inhabitants of the small port city of Keelung located in Northern Taiwan. Known for his photographs which vividly capture the street life of both Shanghai and Tokyo, Michio Yamauchi's Keelung intimately reveals the lives of those with whom he had crossed paths with and the spaces in which he had found himself in. Captured in both black and white and colour, these published photographs capture each scene, elegantly portraying the bustle and movements of the small port city to the viewer.
