Ton! Tan! Pan! Don!
Yoshiyuki Okuyama’s “Ton! Tan! Pan! Don!” is the fourth entry in a series of zine-like photobook publications by Tokyo-based label “bookshop M”, following Kikuji Kawada’s “20”, Zen Yoshikawa’s “Water” and Kota Sake’s “Zoo Animals.”
“Ton! Tan! Pan! Don!”, shot in a spur-of-the-moment decision during a photoshoot near the Tama River in Tokyo in 2020, consists of a series of 23 photographs showing a young couple fooling around in the warm light of the setting sun, being young, vibrating, radiating.
