Marbled with artifacts of his processing techniques, the images in Lin Yu-Chih’s “Dear Vietnam” represent both his journey to Vietnam, during which he took photos, as well the fading nature of uncertain human memory. Lin’s photographs are juxtaposed with photographs from an old roll of film he acquired inadvertently, creating a strange journey into shared memories between two different people and times.

The book is available as a normal paperback edition and with stitch binding. While the content of both edition is the same, the stitch binding comes with an unfold-able book jacket.
