Ron JUDE
Ron Judeは1965年にロサンゼルスで生まれたが、アイダホ州の片田舎で育った。 地理的な偶然が感性に影響を与える、あるいは感性を決定するとすれば、都会と田舎、イメージの国と神話的な個人主義の風景の間にあるアメリカの二面性が、Ron Judeのイメージに浸透していることになる。 彼の作品には直接的な宣言はなく、車好きや毛皮商人の中で育った繊細な子供にふさわしい、繊細で観察力のある力が蓄積されている。 これらが互いに排他的な態度ではないことを証明するように、彼の写真へのアプローチは民主的でニュアンスに富んでおり、ファウンド・フォト、風景、ポートレート、そして10代の頃に撮った写真さえも活用している。
