Raymond MEEKS
レイモンド・ミークス（オハイオ州、1963年）は、記憶と場所、風景が個人を形成する方法、そして抽象的な表現では、その場所が不在のときにどのように自分を所有するかをテーマにした本や写真で知られている。 彼の本は、人生が円を描いて動き、瞬間や出来事（しばしば何年も離れている）が解きほぐされて重なり合い、新たな意味を知らせてくれるような、内部の共存を考察するためのフィールドまたは垂直平面と評されている。
レイモンド・ミークスはハドソン・バレー（ニューヨーク）を拠点に活動。 彼の作品は多くの個人および公的コレクションに収蔵されている。 エルメス財団が主催するフランスとアメリカの写真コミッション「イマージョン」の第6回受賞者。 このコミッションによる展覧会は、ニューヨーク（ICP、2023年9月）とパリ（アンリ・カルティエ＝ブレッソン財団、2024年9月）で開催予定。 作家ジョージ・ウェルドとの共著『The Inhabitants』が2023年8月にMACKより出版された。
レイモンド・ミークスは、2020年にグッゲンハイム財団の写真部門フェローシップを受賞し、2022年にはポロック・クラズナー財団の助成金を授与された。
