Dayanita SINGH
ダヤニタ・シンのアートは、写真を使って、私たちが写真イメージとどのように関わっているかを考察し、拡張するものである。彼女の広範な写真作品から引き出された最近の作品は、彼女のイメージを無限に編集し、連続させ、アーカイブし、展示することを可能にする一連の移動式美術館である。シンのアーカイブへの関心から生まれたこのミュージアムは、彼女の写真を、詩的で物語的な可能性に満ちた、相互に結びついた作品群として紹介している。
しばしばゲルハルト・スタイドルとのコラボレーションで制作される写真集で、彼女は写真を制作し、鑑賞する別の形態を試みている。シンの最新作は、本であり、アート・オブジェであり、展覧会であり、カタログでもある「ブック・オブジェ」である。この作品は、シークエンスと再シークエンスの詩的で物語的な可能性に対する作家の関心から生まれたもので、シンは写真のシークエンスを創り出すと同時に、それを破壊することもできる。
