THIRTYFOUR PARKING LOTS: Special Edition is a photographic tribute to Ed Ruscha's artist books created in the late 60s and early 70s. The Special Edition presents a collection of photographs which attempt at capturing the same referential motives of Ruscha's Los Angeles. Encased within a cardboard casing, Takashi Homma's THIRTYFOUR PARKING LOTS: Special Edition brings together a collection of images which capture parking lots from around the world and includes a special edition artist print within the publication. From parking lots within Japan, Brazil, Australia and Iceland, Homma's portrayal is a wonderful reminder of the influences and impact of Ruscha's artworks.
