His elaborate self portraitures of political leaders such as Mao, Che, Ghandi to artists and celebrities Frida Kahlo and Marilyn Monroe, infiltrate and question our own historic and western collective consciousness, playfully brining forth a dialogue which opens up modern contradictions through the artist’s self appropriations.
