Reflecting
In my eyes, tides of people keep flowing unceasingly; no one can halt for even a mindful glance; take a photo then check-in on social media in a rush, time is limited while focuses are not.
In my eyes, there are thousands of confined focuses, be browsed and consumed in high speed day by day; living souls forgotten, deaths substituted, eternal return.
In my eyes, whether mountain, tree, water or cave, all are shadows of illusions to construct a secure shelter, a comfortable place under rigorous surveillance with daily necessaries guaranteed.
In my eyes, the mass is composed of countless individuals with self-awareness dismissed, rendering and connecting with each other. While convention is important, act without taking time to think
and go with the flow blindly are usual practices, being trapped in the region believed to be safe and steady is unconscious.
In my eyes, that is me.
