Nagoya Notebook
Nagoya Notebook interweaves Anna Strand’s staged photos and texts with photos that she found in a flea market in Japan. Together, they form a kind of fictional notebook about photography. To put it in another way, the book collects notes about power and vision, time, space and nostalgia. The texts are based on the same I. Everything is written in the first person and in the same handwriting. At the same time, it is an I allowing him-/herself to take and examine various forms and directions.
