Familia Homidanchi
‘Homidanchi’ is the name of a large apartment complex in Japan’s Aichi prefecture housing roughly 3,000 non-natives, mainly of Brazilian heritage.
Taken over a period of three years, Keisuke Nagoshi’s empathic, sensuous, at times humourous photos are a documentation of the lifestyles unfolding in the apartment complex.
Including an interview/essay in Japanese by non-fiction author Misao Fujino.
