Daisuke Ohba
A collection of paintings and images created by Japanese artist Daisuke Ohba, as well as installation views from several of his shows.
In his art, Ohba combines natural phenomena (mountains, forests, skies) and abstract shapes and forms. The special iridescent pearl paint that he uses for his art emulate the complex patterns and reactions to light found in nature.
This book includes essays (in English and Japanese) on Ohba’s art and creation process by Takayo Iida (board member of the Mori Art Museum) and Shoko Kawatani (curator of the Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art).
