Sayo Nagase tenth photobook.
In ‘The Void’, Nagase revisits past works by photographing - through a microscopic lens -a series of women’s legs that appeared in her contact sheets of the last ten years. The blurry close-ups appear not as body parts but as textures that resemble surfaces of celestial bodies or images of far-away galaxies.
This photography series is an experimental installation that invites us into the infinity of space, into the void.
