“Merry-Go-Round,” the 11th book by Japanese artist Sayo Nagase, presents fantastical, imaginative abstract shapes in a flurry of images. Nagase went to beaches in Hawaii and climbed snowy mountains in Japan to capture these colorful photos reminiscent of a heavenly paradise. “The endlessly spinning centrifugal force that inspired this world takes us further, towards an unknown world.”

Due to their handmade nature, the cover of each copy features a different, unique image.
