Eikoh HOSOE

Publisher: Tosei-sha Gallery

Published in 2009 by Tosei-sha, Hana Dorobou brings together a collection of photographs taken by Eikoh Hosoe in collaboration with artist, painter, essayist and pioneer of woman's underwear in Japan Yoko Kamoi. Within, what unfolds is a narrative which captures the handmade dolls, made by Kamoi, in varying situations and settings. Each photograph is accompanied by a short text which playfully situates both doll and image within a world of minature subjects, peforming against the backdrop of a man-made environment.

Included within the publication is an afterword by Eikoh Hosoe.

All text included within this publication available only in Japanese.
