Hawaii-based Japanese artist Miyako Yamazaki paints this vision, rooted on experiences of her daily life and her childhood, as images on canvas. In the 128-page strong “Gold Loves Purple”, her painted visions mix with photographs the artist uploads to Instagram, inviting the viewer into a world of windows that blends the world before us with the surreal colors of an imagined landscape.
