Torbjørn RØDLAND
Torbjørn RØDLAND（1970年ノルウェー、スタヴァンゲル生まれ）は、見る者に鋭く語りかけ、さまざまな感情や知的状態を呼び起こす写真を制作している。好奇心、ユーモア、批評性、作為、自然界への畏敬、ロマンティシズムは、彼の作品全体に、そしてしばしば同じイメージの中に現れる。ローランドはまた、写真の形式的な特性を強調し、このメディアをより絵画的な視覚表現へと押し進め、20世紀の芸術写真と広告やソーシャルメディアに共通する21世紀の画像制作のアプローチを結びつけている。ローランドは、しばしば写真以外のイメージから現実世界の被写体に変換し、非常に感覚的な質感を描写することで心理的な反応を引き起こすようなシーンを描いている。作品に存在する身体性は、フィルムカメラと化学暗室プロセスによってもたらされる。
