サンツ モフォケング
Santu MOFOKENG
1956年、ヨハネスブルグのソウェト生まれ。10代の頃からストリートフォトグラファーとして活動し、暗室アシスタントを経て、報道写真家としてのキャリアをスタート。すぐにAfrapixという集団に参加し、Mofokengというペンネームで作品を発表する。当初は南アフリカのアパルトヘイト闘争を撮影していたが、現在ではさまざまな被写体や手法で作品を発表している。
風景を取り戻す」彼の作品は、所有権、権力、記憶との関係において風景の意味を探求している。
