具本昌
KOO Bohnchang
1953年、韓国ソウル生まれ。1975年、延世大学商経学部経営学科卒業（ソウル）。1979年‐1985年、ドイツのハンブルクに留学。ハンブルク美術大学写真デザインを専攻し、修士号取得。2000年イー・ミョンドン写真賞受賞（ソウル）。2003年カンウォンド賞受賞（韓国）。2014年ドンガン写真賞受賞（韓国）。
これまで30回を超える個展を開催し、主なものにカメラ・オブスキュラ（パリ）、国際画廊（ソウル）、何必館 京都現代美術館、フィラデルフィア美術館などがある。また、2015年に森美術館にて開催された「シンプルなかたち」展にも出展。主な作品集として『Deep Breath in Silence』『Revealed Personas』『Vessels for the Heart』『How to Capture the Touching Moment』『Hysteric Nine』『Vessel』『Everyday Treasures』など多数。
