Poison Yellow and Purpurstraße are the first two entries in Mika Ninagawa’s zine project. While the photographs diverge in style from Ninagawa’s usual flamboyant, busy photographs and are advertised as “private snapshots” by the publisher, the two issues released so far stay true to Ninagawa’s colourful art in name: Poison Yellow and Purpurstraße (German for “crimson road”). The zines are limited to 888 copies each.
