ONE SECOND vol.01 SHIBUYA
Time flows without any intention.
A girl runs through the same second when the buses park in perfect alignment.
Transient people are completely unaware of the brief but spectacular show of light and its reflections.
I decided to record the events occuring within one second in my hometown Shibuya, to visualize the undeniable mercilessness of the flow of time.
Standing still in the middle of Shibuya, observing that people, cars, nothing stands still even for a moment, I realized that teh movement of light and shadow also never pauses. Reflected from buildings, its shadow cast on the street, light continues to shift positions. Shifting to the next building window, its shadow cast on the next street and on the transient people and cars, unfolding a labryinth cityscape.
