NEVER AGAIN.

NEVER AGAIN.

Masaru TATSUKI

“Never Again.” He said so in April 2014 and laid down his hunting gun. This is a documentary on the end of deer hunting that had continued for more than half century in Tohoku.

"The last time he went deer hunting was in November, 2011. He has not climbed the mountain to hunt deer since. Whenever hunting season came around, I would ask the same question:
'Are you going deer hunting again this year?'
This year he answered:
'I hate killing deer. I have killed my fill. I have had enough.'
He showed me a single, wrinkled document which he received from a gun store. The document claimed that radioactive material had been identified in deer meat."
