Featuring one hundred photographs selected from the twenty series he has produced over the past forty years, Fossil of Perspective is a comprehensive introduction to the photography of Korean artist Myung-oh Chung. The book traces Chung's photographic aesthetic, which, in the artist's own words, is defined by "subjective perspective and lyrical emotion. His imaginative yet uncluttered black-and-white photographs capture a wide range of places, from South Africa to Japan, South Korea, Kenya, Morocco, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany during reunification, with a deep understanding of their common element of humanity.
