The long-awaited sequel to Kotori Kawashima's Mirai-chan

In 2011, Kotori Kawashima's photobook "Mirai-chan", documenting the daily life of a young child on Sado Island, became an international success. That same year, Mirai-chan embarked on an extended vacation across Europe. Now, thirteen years later, her adventures in France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and other countries have finally been published in a new photo book.
"Vocalise" follows Mirai-chan as she explores the world with childlike curiosity. We see her playing in flower fields, climbing on train seats, enjoying ice cream, and throwing the occasional tantrum as she learns to navigate the world. Through Kawashima's lens, Mirai-chan's face becomes the embodiment of childhood itself.
