For the “Untitled Records” series, Keizo Kitajima travels through Japan to photograph disaster-stricken areas all over the country. The project began following the 2011 Great Kanto Earthquake and Tsunami, when Kitajima visited affected areas in Fukushima and Sanriku and noticed the reality before him being influenced by permeating images. The series – set to encompass 20 issues in total – aims to draw a portrait from multiple points of view.
This 16th entry in the series features photographs taken in Minamisoma, Namie, Iitate, Tomioka and other locations.
