She's Lost Control
After "Flower is not Flower" and "Trouble", Chan Wai-Kwong's "She's Lost Control" is the third in a series of photo books whose titles are inspired by song titles. With each page tinted black, Chan Wai-Kwong's photographs seem to emerge from the darkness. Through street scenes, impromptu portraits, and snapshots, "She's Lost Control" captures the many facets of Hong Kong, from glitz and glamour to abject poverty, from concrete and architecture to love and sex, from sincerity to tongue-in-cheek jokes.
“I’m addicted to the internet. Same as my life. Everything’s heavy. Maybe this feeling is a reflection of my inner self in the past two or three years. There’s many things I can’t clearly understand. Only one thing is relatively certain. I only recorded some fragment.”
