The publishing company established in Kyoto on 1st June 2018 by Chinese editor Xia Nan. A Japanese editor who has experience of living in China is her partner. Based in Kyoto but its main market is China, the aim is to spread the beauty of Japanese culture to China through publishing and related events. As a first step, published the reprint of “Dear Old Days - Chinese Children/Ryoji Akiyama (1983)” on June 1, 2019, Children's Day in China. The first edition sold out in China as soon as it went on sale and it became a trilogy series. Seisodo also published reprint of masterpieces by Ken Domon, Ihei Kimura in bilingual (Chinese-Japanese) editions.
