I wanted to ascertain with my own eyes the blurry image that Tsukiji and the fish market carried, and so I kept visiting here.
I just observed everything from the same point every time and pressed the shutter.
In front of blue skies, in pouring rain, snowfall and changing surroundings, there were so many friendly faces which had their owners’ lives etched into them.
I grew to like the place more with each visit, and out of a desire to record the people here, I continued to photograph.
