Hiroyuki Sudo’s photobook Neuron was originally published in 2016 to accompany his exhibition at Totem Pole Gallery in Tokyo.
The series consists of diary-like photographs seemingly taken within Sudo’s everyday life in Tokyo – street scenes, architectural details etc., – as well as more obviously staged photographs. The subtle arrangement of the series within the photobook draws out a certain wondrous, lightweight atmosphere. Hiroyuki Sudo is definitely a photographer to watch.
