Collated in a binder by retail company Muji, “Interact” offers a large collection of artworks and ideas of Japanese artist Motohiro Tomii from his early period until 2016.
Tomii’s work, created using familiar objects and materials like rulers, post-it notes or bins, works by disregarding existing contexts and finding new ones, unrelated to the place or time of creation.
The book “Interact” accepts that idea by primarily regarding itself with the shapes and colors of Tomii’s work, offering new gradual connections through its (adjustable) page order.
