Hong Kong Parr
Published to coincide with his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong at Blindspot Gallery in 2014, Hong Kong Parr captures two weeks worth of explorations by celebrated photographer Martin Parr into one of the most densely populated cities in the world. Parr’s examination presents his satirical and humorous narrative; examining society’s material consumption of both fashion, food and leisure. Hong Kong Parr presents a personal, subjective examination of contemporary life, commenting on issues which lay just below the surface of a city though his original and unique perspective.
