Born in Osaka’s Jusoh district in 1964. After working in the night entertainment industry, as a street-stall keeper and as a truck driver,Yoshinaga strives to become a photographer who specializes in youth welfare.“Zoku” (by Little More Publishing), a photography collection of Boh-soh-zoku (youth bike-gang), becomes one of Yoshinaga’s representative work.He has also photographed youth street-gangs, street gals, and foreigners living in Japan, individuals who are often labeled as “minorities” within Japan.In the recent years, Yoshinaga has participated in the "Shinjuku ID" project which exhibited portraits of everyday Shinjuku people on the temporary wallof a construction site located at the south entrance of the Shinjuku train station. He also serves as the headmaster of a photography workshop school called "Resist,"
