Cairo Apartment
Cairo Apartment is an independent publishing house founded by Jun Iwasaki and Seiko Morikawa in between Tokyo, Japan and Antwerp, Belgium in 2020, currently based in Den Haag, the Netherlands and Kyoto, Japan.
Cairo Apartment produces books as objects, approaching the artist's intentions with the utmost care, then complementing and sharing those intentions via the details of the book itself. Our aesthetic telegraphs and extends the context of the work; the ambience of the book is interactively derived from the story within, creating a literary spatial assemblage. Book = object.
