Part of a series of 40 photobooks published by Iwanami Shoten in the late 1990s, the series of publications sought to present the photographic works of seminal pre and post-war photographers from Japan to its contemporary readers. With volumes which featured Ken Domon, Shoji Ueda, Takuma Nakahira and Issei Suda, this edition brings together a selection of works by Provoke member Yutaka Takanashi.
