Issue 7 of the Osaka-based street photography magazine “Vacuum.” Like previous issues, the zine-like publication consists of photographs taken by Vacuum Press members (in issue 7: Jade Chen, Shogo Yamada, Jun Abe, Ryosuke Koshino, Jumpei Seto, Yuko Hirano, Hsuan Lang Lin, Takuya Suzuki, Nagisa Goto, and for the first time Mei Hirano) without a guiding theme, presented without statements or captions. Vacuum is straight, unadulterated photography from the streets of Japan and East Asia. The many different styles, perspectives, ideals, worldviews and geographic locations of the participating members result in a dazzling, kaleidoscopic experience of moments, sceneries, accidents and encounters.
