spewedition is a publishing label that unites the Japanese photographers/ artist Daisuke YOKOTA, Naohiro UTAGAWA and Koji KITAGAWA. The works collected in “Mother” have been exhibited at the Promenade Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo, in April 2017. The artists mix abstract and concrete expressions to try and overcome the limits of photographic expression. A CD forms part of this publication. The CD includes sounds and videos created by the artists meant to be enjoyed together with the photos.
