Anokado wo Magaru Koro
Ano kado wo magaru koro (jap.: “When turning around that corner”) is a quiet, calm photobook by Japanese photographer Makoto Hada, with medium-format photographs of (mostly) everyday objects and sights. From a globe in an open window, framed by the branches of a tree, to a stack of lego stones in an unevenly lit room, icebergs, fog and a baby (one of few human appearances) photographs that work because of their subtle framing and the balanced color tones.
