A Gap in the Landscape (D)
Witty slice-of-life photography from Osaka.
Keita Kusaka (aka Keitata) is a veteran copywriter based in Osaka who has been feeding his photo blog “A Gap in the Landscape” with funny and poignant images for over a decade. This new publication features a best-of selection of Keitata’s human, heartfelt and often hilarious works.
Each of the photographs works on its own but gains another level of pepperiness through Keitata’s brilliant titles (in Japanese and English), demonstrating his experience as a writer in the Japanese advertising industry.
Each single book was hand-bound using recycled cardboard boxes and glued-on photo printouts, making each of the signed and numbered copies is unique.
