Jun Iwasaki is a Japanese artist who works in photography and text, based in Den Haag, The Netherlands. Iwasaki is self-taught in photography.
Iwasaki’s art practice is to find seemingly insignificant moments in the ordinary scene with camera through on his educational background of aesthetics and anthropology. Iwasaki is not very interested in photography as to record aestheticized things.

Iwasaki explores themes of memory, personal struggles, questions to himself and impermanence by the telling of deeply personal narrative.
Accordingly, Iwasaki's photography approaches are often described “poetry without text”.

Iwasaki’s book ’Hear The Wind Sing’ was self published in 2017, ’To Find The Right Chair’ was published by Cairo Apartment in 2021. Iwasaki was nominated Japan Photo Award 2018, APA photo award 2022.

Solo exhibition at nidi gallery in Tokyo and midoriSO gallery in Fukuoka in 2022, Group show at LICHT gallery in 2023. Iwasaki’s work has been exhibited at Tokyo Photographic Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan.
