Anne REARICK

Rearick received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1990. She has been the recipient of several awards and grants, most notably a Guggenheim fellowship to photograph the culture of amateur boxing; the European Mosaique prize to explore rural communities of Italy and Scotland; the Prix Roger Pic from SCAM for her work in townships in post-apartheid South Africa; a Fulbright fellowship to the Basque Country of France; two New England Foundation for the Arts/Mass Cultural Council grants; and most recently, a Parkhill Foundation Grant to study Chilean Cinema.
Five monographs of Rearick’s photographs have been published to date: You Will Look to the Mountains - 2023; True West - 2019; Sète 17 - 2017; Township - 2016; and Miresicoletea sur le Pays Basque - 2003
Public Collections include the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris, the Centre Nationale de L’Audiovisuel in Luxembourg, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Anne Rearick has been a member of Agence VU since 1993 and is represented by Galerie Clémentine de la Féronnière in Paris.
