沈昭良
SHEN Chao-Liang
1968年台湾台南生まれ。国立台湾芸術大学応用メディア芸術大学院で修士号を取得。フォトジャーナリスト、自由時報社娯楽・芸術・文学ニュースセンター副主任、台湾国立中央大学アーティスト・イン・レジデンスを経て、1993年より写真家として活動。1993年以来、特集写真に専念。初期の作品『Reflections of Nan-Fang-Ao』（2001年）から後期のシリーズ『YULAN Magnolia Flower』（2008年）、『築地魚河岸』（2010年）、『STAGES』（2011年）、『SINGERS & STAGES』（2013年）に至るまで、その洗練されたイメージ作りのスタイルと台湾社会の進化を記録することへのコミットメントが高く評価されている。
2000年、2002年、2012年に台湾R.O.C.の金鼎賞最優秀写真賞（雑誌部門）、2004年に日本・相模原のアジア賞、2006年に韓国・東港写真賞、2013年にアメリカ・NYのArtists Wanted： 2011年にはアメリカ・ニューヨークで写真部門賞を、2012年にはアメリカ・ロサンゼルスでIPA（International Photography Award）（PRO）のBook of Documentary部門第1位をそれぞれ受賞している。
シェンの作品は、国内外の雑誌に掲載されているほか、アメリカ、カナダ、フランス、イギリス、スペイン、オランダ、セルビア、ペルー、ブラジル、グアテマラ、日本、韓国、シンガポール、中国で展示されている。現在はフリーランスの写真評論家として活動する傍ら、タムカン大学、国立台湾科技大学、国立政治大学で写真を教えている。
