Born in 1976. Flower artist.
In 2002, he opened “JARDINS des FLEURS,” a haute couture florist in Ginza (currently located in Minami Aoyama), where he creates dessins to order, purchases floral materials, and makes bouquets. In addition to these activities as a florist, he started Botanical Sculpture, a form of figurative expression that can be considered a sculptural work, and began to attract attention from abroad. Starting with a solo exhibition in New York, he has exhibited many experimental works in Paris and Dusseldorf, etc. In 2009, he launched the experimental botanical group “Azuma Shin, Hanaki Kenkyu Kenkyujo (AMKK)”, which has been exhibited in Milan and Belgium.
(AMKK), an experimental botanical group, and has presented their work in museums, art galleries, and public spaces in Milan, Belgium, Shanghai, and Mexico. In recent years, he has been energetically developing projects in which he arranges flowers in various situations on earth that could not exist in the natural world. He continues to pursue the beauty of plants from his unique perspective.
