Seiji KURATA
倉田精二
Born in Tokyo in 1945, he graduated from the Workshop School of Photography in 1976 and won the Kimura Ihei Award in 1980 for "Street Photo Random Tokyo 1975-79". His "FLASH UP", which captured the obscene nights of 1970s Tokyo, with its motorcycle gangs, yakuza gangs, right-wing activists, cabarets and host clubs, made an impact.
