HYSTERIC GLAMOUR is a Japanese fashion brand founded by Nobuhiko KITAMURA in 1984.
Nobuhiko Kitamura has been fascinated by rock music since his mid-teens, and his collections are a fusion of rock and fashion. At the same time, he also has a penchant for contemporary art and pornography, a sensibility that has been expressed in his Hysteric Glamour T-shirts. In addition to his work as a fashion designer, he has published collections of work by photography artists and has designed and directed the interiors, exteriors, and furniture of Hysteric Glamour stores.
